Ideally yes. A plan created early lets us coordinate prewire with your builder or electrician and avoid costly rework later.
Can you design for an existing home, not just new construction?
Yes. We design retrofit systems for existing homes as often as we do for new builds.

How long does the planning process take?
Most single-family home plans take one to two weeks from initial walkthrough to a finished design, depending on home size and how many systems you’re planning for.
Do you charge for the design, or is it bundled with installation?
We can price it either way: as a standalone design fee if you want a plan in hand before committing, or bundled into the full project cost if you’re ready to move forward.
Can I take the plan to another installer?
Yes, the plan is yours. Most clients choose to have us install it since we already know the design inside and out, but you’re never locked in.
